Bangladesh Agro-Meteorological Information System

A national agro-meteorological web portal (Bangla & English) with iOS and Android apps, data portal software, automated agromet advisory bulletins, crop weather calendars, and GIS-based satellite products (NDVI, VHI, VCI, TCI, soil-moisture). Built and maintained for the Department of Agricultural Extension under the World Bank-funded Agro-Meteorological Information Systems Development Project (AMISDP).

The Challenge

Farmers and extension officers across Bangladesh needed timely, district-level weather and crop-advisory information in an accessible, localised form.

Our Solution

Delivered a bilingual portal and mobile apps with automated advisory generation, crop weather calendars, API integration and GIS satellite-product processing, plus multi-year annual maintenance.
